Paultons Park!

Ever since Justin picked up a leaflet for Paultons Park (also home to Peppa Pig World) a few months ago, Ben has been desperate to go. He has spent a lot of time just looking at the map, working out what rides to go on, which one to go on first etc etc...we kept promising we would go soon.... so on Monday morning we woke Ben up and surprised him that we were going to Paultons Park. He was very happy and excited! We had a great day, we went on as many rides as we could fit in and even managed to convince Ben to go on the Cobra roller coaster ride with us which we all loved. We didn't get round to doing everything but hopefully go back next year to test out their new Dinosaur Land!

Urchfont Scarecrow Festival

After our little detour at the fun fair in Devizes, we drove on to Urchfont to take part in the Scarecrow Festival. The theme was Oscar winners (how many can you guess?) and after about 3 hours of walking we unfortunately could not physically do all of them (there were 50 to find) so we had to give up which was a shame but we were all ready to call it a day! Good fun though, it was a lovely village and there was the added bonus of having a good old nose at people's houses as the Scarecrows were on people's drives ;-)  Not many pics of Ben, he wasn't that keen on standing next to the Scarecrows - he is only approaching the Forest Gump one as he caught site of the box of chocolates on the bench next to him and went to check if there was any in there :-)

All the fun of the fair!

We enjoyed going to two fun fairs over the bank holiday weekend - one in Chippenham and one in Devizes. Daddy was stunned at how much each ride cost - he thought it would be about 50p per ride - its not the 80s Daddy!! Mummy & Ben had fun on the Ferris Wheel - only turned my stomach a little bit ;-)
