Christmas and Birthday celebrations!

We had a great time over Christmas and New Year and I just wanted to say thank you very much again for everyone's hard work and efforts to enable us to kick back, relax and enjoy being fed! And thanks again for all presents. Happy 7th birthday to Ben too! He had a great day ice-skating, a Mcdonalds lunch and friends over for a birthday tea. There are so many photos that we took over the two weeks so putting as many as I can in this post....

Ben had a great time in Lacock Abbey's cosy kitchen meeting Father Christmas and listening to a story read by Mrs Christmas...

Christmas at Tyntesfield

We had a lovely afternoon in Tyntesfield (National Trust). The house had been decorated in the style of a Victorian Christmas and very splendid it was too! We were all encouraged to join in on a 'sing-a-long' and though there were lots of shy looking faces at first, everyone got into the spirit of things and enjoyed singing along to Jingle Bells and the 12 Days of Christmas. Nothing like a good ol' sing-a-long!

Happy Birthday Adam!

It was Ben's friend Adam's 7th birthday yesterday and he chose a select few to check out the new 'bounce house' room at a local softplay centre. The boys all had a great time, bouncing to their heart's content. Then we all headed over to Mcdonalds for some much needed lunch.

Bonfire Night Fun

We headed over to Christian Malford to enjoy the bonfire and fireworks. What a great display!

October Half Term Fun!

We had a great half term, enjoying visiting lots of different places. We went to Tyntesfield, Lacock, Whitehall Garden Centre (Papa's favourite place!!), Bath, Slimbridge, cinema and even squeezed in a Halloween party at Ben's friend Adam's house. Phew! Back to school/work for a rest :-)
