A lovely time in Lacock..

Ben had Monday off school as it was a TD day.... so we hopped on the bus to Lacock Abbey and had a lovely time enjoying a very quiet Lacock Abbey and grounds. Its not often we get the rope swing all to ourselves, so we made the most of it!

Ive got a golden ticket!

Ben's year at school celebrated Roald Dahl day on Tuesday by dressing up as a character and taking a trip to the library for fun and games (and chocolate cake!).

First day of year 2!

After a fun packed summer, Ben is off to school to start year 2 at Kings Lodge. Good luck Ben!

(I can happily report, one week on, that so far Ben is settling well into his new classroom and enjoying year 2)

Run Daddy Run! (I think I may have used this title before!!)

Justin did very well completing the Chippenham half marathon in 1 hour 54 minutes, despite having a bad leg for most of this year! Ben and I had a lovely time in town enjoying tea and toast and sliding on the bouncy castle at the sports field (we were thinking about Daddy, honest!). Well done, amazing achievement
