Holiday 2014 to Tenby

We had a really great week staying in Tenby. We were lucky with the weather, it was dry and sunny most of the time apart from the last couple of days. We packed in a lot of stuff including: Folly Farm (barn animals, zoo, rides), a trip to a water park at Bluestone, Colby Woods (national trust - pond dipping, rope swings, woodland walks), a boat trip to Caldey Island (lovely Island off the coast of Tenby with a great beach and cliff top walks) along with afternooons on the beach in Tenby (Ben is a real beach boy - loves it, great to see him just having fun playing in the sea, building sand castles etc). We had a great little house to stay in, tucked down a quiet street but only a 5 min walk to the town and beaches. A fantastic week and Ben related highlights for me were seeing him milking a goat with no hesitation and the look of pure amazement on his face when a parrot started talking :-) We took tons of photos, here are a small selection...

The Big Toddle!

Ben did a charity walk this morning (half a mile) with his pre-school to raise money for Barnardos...he loves his medal and sticker. Well done Ben!

Reuben's (Pod's) 4th Birthday Party

After nearly an hour and a half of driving, we finally reached Pod's superhero themed birthday party. They had hired a party entertainer who was great with the kids - she did games, magic tricks, dancing and ballloon shaping. The party was rounded off with party food and a great birthday cake made by Amanda. Happy Birthday Pod!

You are enjoying your first Mr Whippy of the year - horay! And also a pleasant stroll around Lacock.

The best bit about making cakes (for Ben's friend Pod's birthday party on Sunday) is licking the spoon!
