A trip to Lacock

Ben loves travelling on the bus so he was in luck when we had to get two buses to get to Lacock. It was a lovely sunny day so we packed a picnic lunch and headed off on our adventure. We enjoyed a cup of tea at the cafe, fun in the playground, a walk round Lacock Abbey (including playing with an original Victorian toy) and rounded it off with an ice cream. We had a lovely morning and Ben was so tired out after our little adventure he fell asleep on the bus!

Bristol Zoo

We had a great morning at a hot Bristol Zoo yesterday. Every summer they get the dinosaurs out to scare the wits out of the little ones (including Ben!) but after an initial scare from the T Rex he wasn't bothered by them (they were quite life like, with sounds and movement). I think one of Ben's favourite things at the zoo was running through the sprinkler they were using for the flowers! Hopefully squeeze in another visit before we get totally absorbed in preparing to move house...
