Ben and I had a great day at Bowood yesterday for the pre-school summer trip. Ben had lots of fun enjoying the soft play, farm and huge adventure playground and we also had perfect weather...

John Coles Park
Ben and I ventured to our favourite Chippenham park this morning and enjoyed the sunshine and a well deserved mini milk ice cream (Ben kept a keen eye on the ice cream hut and was over like a shot when it opened up). Now for a rest then a good play in the paddling pool this afternoon with Ben's friend Henry - fun times!

Bowood Country Fair
We had a great day at Bowood Country Fair on Sunday. There was plenty of things to watch, participate in, rides to go on, ice creams to eat.. it was all very quintessentially English! Apart from a few mini meltdowns by Ben (he loves going on rides = difficult doing something else) it was an enjoyable day (though Justin & I strongly resemble beetroots at the moment!). Pics below include Ben in a fire engine and a JCB digger and the pic with the other kids was during the falconry display where an Owl called Peanut swooped in between them all.
