Tyntesfield and a very very very high up Clifton Suspension Bridge

Justin had a couple of days off work so we ventured down to Tyntesfield near Bristol (a National Trust property). What a beautiful place! We agreed it was the best National Trust place we have been to so far... As we were not too far from Bristol, we thought we would head over to the Clifton Suspension Bridge and walk from one end to another - put it this way, we wont be doing that again in a hurry! Check out the mini Isambard Kingdom Brunel with his top hat.

Longleat

We took another trip to Longleat last Saturday and had a good time as always. Here are a few pics. They were getting everything ready for November's Chinese Festival of Light so looking forward to going back to Longleat soon in the evening to check it all out!

Back to Lacock

Ben and I love our little trips to Lacock and as Ben is now on half term holidays we took the opportunity to head back over there and try out their new trail - the Travellers Trail. Ben enjoyed taking photos (and took some very good ones) with his camera along the way which I will try and load onto the blog in the not too distant future... It was a lovely Autumn day and we had a lovely time! And thanks again to Grandad for coming to pick us up and taking us back to Nanna & Grandad's house for a nice lunch and play.

Petit Picasso

In a short space of time, Ben has come a long way with his drawing and colouring in. He used to be just about interested enough to draw a quick smiley face. Now he is very proud of his drawings and takes his time using different colours,  so we thought we would show off a few recent school pics on the blog. Here is a picture of Ben in the garden, some ants (when they were learning about the letter A at school) and a picture of Mr Jelly (he couldn't find a pink pen at school so used orange instead). Well done Ben!

Dressing up at Nanna & Papa's House

We had a fun day at Nanna & Papa's house last Sunday.... I didn't take my camera so took some pics using Nanna's which were edited and emailed to me :-). Ben had lots of fun dressing up as a pirate in one of Nanna's panto costumes (plus treasure chest hat handmade by Nanna). BUT what is missing is lots of pics of Papa dressed as a Sea Monster which Pirate Ben was slaying with his sword and had us all in complete hysterics - Papa- where are these pics eh? :-)
